The company continued to grow and thrive through three generations and in 1984 john s granddaughter sherry took over the business.

The elongated space has a long bar and a small stage and plays host to an imaginative programme of folk jazz reggae latin and african music. The atrium s history dates back to 1926 when john eisler founded eisler nurseries. Hackney s newest music venue is right at the top of the beautifully renovated picturehouse with arched windows looking down to the town hall. The venue is wheelchair accessible via a platform lift with disabled and gender neutral toilets.

The space is changing and they can no longer accommodate us. After nearly six years of running london craft night the make escape at the wonderful venue our home hackney attic we will no longer be able to hold events there. Alongside their films they host dj parties film quizzes and comedy nights.
