He2 Plus Washer Door Locked

You can manually unlock the washer door by following these steps.

He2 plus washer door locked. Remove the bottom front service panel as shown in the first image below. Pull the door open. To manually unlock and open the door remove the bottom front service panel reach up into the cabinet and pull down on the manual release tab on the bottom of the door lock switch assembly. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.

Disconnect the power cord from the power source. Then pull the door open. Carefully reach up the inside of the front panel and pull the release tab on the bottom of the door lock assembly. Remove lower cover and drain by opening the pump filter.

If the door lock receiver is clear check the wire harness connections between the door lock switch assembly and the main electronic control board. Remove the lower toe panel by removing the screws along the bottom edge. Check all the green wires ground harnesses system are notbroken or wires detached. Check for foreign objects in the door lock receiver.

Remove the lower front panel from the front of the washer by removing the 3 screws in the bottom of it. Unplug the washer to completely disconnect electrical power.
